- If apt-get update fails, show clear error message telling user
to fix their package repositories first
- Exit with error instead of silently continuing with broken deps
- Only fail on critical apt-get update failure, not individual
package install failures (those are warnings)
- Add build-linux.sh script for end-to-end Linux builds
- Add build-linux.sh to MANIFEST.in for source distribution inclusion
- Fix all build scripts to handle sys.path when run directly
