# Book Detail Page Requirements 1. **Language Selection Dropdown** - **Location**: Top right of the page. - **Data Source**: The dropdown will only display languages that are currently configured for the specific book in `bookshelfhelper` (e.g., checking if localized fields like `title_lang` or `blurb_lang` have data). 2. **Layout Structure** - **Left Column**: The book cover remains on the left. - **Under Left Column (Cover)**: The store/shopping selections will be moved here. - **Central Column**: - Book Title - Author (Pen Name) - Ratings (Amazon, Goodreads) - Formats available (Ebook, Paperback, Hardcover, Audiobook) - Book Blurb (HTML formatted to allow display formatting) will be positioned directly below the formats in the central column. - **Right Column**: Theme-based right sidebar using the theme's dynamic sidebar. The default is to show Goodreads books the author has on the site. 3. **Format Selection & Store Links Interaction** - **Functionality**: Selecting a format (Ebook, Paperback, Hardcover, audiobook) will dynamically update the store selections under the cover image. - **Dynamic Styling**: - Sites offering the selected format will be clickable and appear normal. - Formats not available on specific sites will be grayed out/unclickable. - **Source**: Store links are managed as part of the `bookshelfhelper` setup. 4. **URL Structure** - When a book is added, the link will be based on the title acronym/short slug (e.g., "Pandemic Hacker" becomes "ph"). This is supported by the `bookshelfhelper` short link slug functionality. 5. **Implementation Scope** - Build this detail page structure so that `bookshelfhelper` can render it properly. - Apply this structure so that it automatically works for each of the books already defined. - The data for each portion is stored in bookshelfhelper
